DJ Khaled Celebrates 43-Lb Weight Loss: ‘I Ain’t Stopping’

Major milestone! DJ Khaled dished on his weight-loss journey and revealed that he has lost 43 lbs with the help of WW, formerly Weight Watchers.

“A year ago I told y’all it’s coming OFF! I started at 293 lbs and now I’m OFFICIALLY 250lbs!! They CALL ME SLIM JIM!!” the “No Brainer” DJ, 43, wrote alongside an Instagram video documenting his accomplishment on Tuesday, February 12. “Thank you @ww for changing my life!! And I ain’t stopping! We gon keep winning with the Freestyle Program! I promise you!! It’s coming OFF!”

He added: “Join me and win with me on @WW. The new Weight Watchers. I’m not racing! I’m not speeding! I’m cruising! Ride with me through the journey.”

The Grammy nominee expressed his excitement to be shedding pounds in the heartfelt clip. “When you get to your goal — my goal was 250 — it inspired me. I knew I was close,” he explained of sticking with the program. Khaled joined the company as an ambassador in January 2018 and one year later, he revealed that he had dropped 34 lbs.

“New year, new goals, new blessings. I’ve been sharing my @WW journey for a year now and real talk there’s been major wins but also some tough times,” the New Orleans native admitted in January. “But I’m COMMITTED. AND IT’S COMING OFF.”

The “I’m the One” rapper also opened up about his health during an interview with Fox News in February 2018, one month after partnering with the diet company. “Man, Weight Watchers is going good. The Freestyle Program is doing real big. It’s a real lifestyle because all you have to do is not go over your point [total],” he noted. “And there are so many zero points [foods] in case you get hungry. I got the freestyle dance.”
