What! Ed Sheeran did get that lion tattoo after all. The singer posted another Instagram on Wednesday revealing he was joking about "only joking" and that he simply covered up the tattoo with makeup.

Thank god! Ed Sheeran didn’t actually get that massive tattoo of a lion on his chest. On Wednesday, Aug. 26, the prankster revealed he was just kidding.
“Was only joking about the lion,” he captioned an Instagram of his bare chest. The “Photograph” singer fooled everyone two weeks ago after he posted a similar pic of himself shirtless with a massive lion’s head inked in color on his chest with the caption, “Halfway and ouch.”
Sheeran, 24, went as far as to credit his tattoo artist for the questionable creation. "Lion is courtesy of @kp_est78, who puts up with me complaining about the pain,” he tweeted at UK-based ink artist Kevin Paul.
Despite fooling everyone, Taylor Swift’s bestie does have a plethora of real tattoos, ranging from a lizard, a teddy bear, a tree, and even Puss in Boots from Shrek.
