Looks like wine does a body good! Hoda Kotb revealed her toned, tanned bikini body on the beach this weekend when she took a break from chilly New York to enjoy some fun in the sun in Miami on Dec. 7.
Strutting confidently through the sand in a pair of flip-flops, the 49-year-old Today show standout displayed her lean legs and flat abs in a blue-and-white printed bandeau bikini top paired with white bikini bottoms and a semi-sheer white sarong. Her short hair was pulled back into a low ponytail, and she wore sunglasses to shield her eyes.
This is not the first time the former Dateline journalist has stripped down to a swimsuit. Back in June, she and her Today show partner-in-crime, Kathie Lee Gifford, posed on the cover of AARP the Magazine in flirty one-pieces.
"We don't take ourselves seriously," Gifford said in the accompanying interview. "If we're having fun, our audience has fun. Fun is contagious."
That said, Kotb has been through some serious struggles. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, she underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. "You can be an optimist, and then the world falls out from under you," she told AARP. "At that point you either look for potholes everywhere, or you realize your life has margins and you stop wasting time."
