If anyone deserved a burger — or six! — it's supermodel Lily Aldridge.
At the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City Nov. 7, the 5-foot-9 stunner showed off her toned tummy and lean legs less than five months after giving birth to Dixie, her first child with Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill.
Before Aldridge strutted her stuff, however, she spoke to Us Weekly about what it took to get her body back in shape before the televised event. "I ate so much salmon for the last two months — you wouldn't believe it!" she recalled. "Literally, I cannot see salmon for like eight months, I ate so much of it."
"I tried to eat really clean foods before the show, and I just had a baby, so I was eating overtime to keep with breast feeding," Aldridge explained.
Nearly every day after giving birth, Aldridge said, she "ate really clean foods: all organic fruits and vegetables. I can't wait to eat a burger."
And that's exactly what she did! After the runway show, the California native said she planned to go back to her hotel room and change into her Dolce & Gabbana dress. "Then I'm going to meet my husband in the bar and have a glass of wine and a whole burger. It can't come fast enough!"
At the Samsung Galaxy-sponsored afterparty at Lavo, Alridge shared a picture of her post-runway meal: six hamburger sliders and french fries. "Come to mama," the Victoria's Secret Angel wrote in the Instagram caption.
Aldridge will get her fill again in just a few weeks when her family celebrates Thanksgiving. "I think I'm going to give my baby her first food on Thanksgiving, make her some organic sweet potato. I'm very excited! It's going to be a big day and my husband is in charge of the turkey — he's the chef of the family!" she told Us of Followill, 30. "He's an amazing cook and loves to do it."
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
