Want to know how Lily Aldridge looks so hot on the beach? Besides good genes, she gets some help with a little smoke and mirrors from her makeup team.
“A good fake tan is always nice …. We have the best makeup artists who have the best bronzers, so they hook us up," the Victoria's Secret model, 30, tells Us Weekly.
Aldridge also shared some other easy tricks of the trade for getting bikini-ready, whether you've been blessed with supermodel looks or have to fake bake it until you make it. "Another thing that makeup artists do is spray you with sunblock. It protects you from the sun, but gives you a really nice sheen for pictures, like you just woke up with sheeny, tan-looking skin," she adds.
Looking good is part of Aldridge's job, but she doesn’t kill herself with unhealthy diet practices. “In my normal life, I’m not this crazy person! I’m normal. I enjoy life, as you do," the mom of daughter Dixie Pearl, 3, tells Us. "I'm pretty sure I ate some hamburgers over there." But the model, one of Taylor Swift's many pals, isn't eating hamburgers every day. “We compare ourselves to athletes," she says of her fellow VS models. "We make smart choices for a month before the show, we work out."
Aldridge stars in the upcoming Victoria's Secret Swimsuit Special, which also features former Disney star turned pop music hottie Nick Jonas. “Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato were the performers, and we had a private concert on this beautiful island and all just had a lot of fun!" the model tells Us.
