All hail Body Queen Jennifer Aniston. The Friends actress may have turned 50 years old in February 2019, but you’d be forgiven for thinking she was 40 — or even her 30! The youthful California native is basically the godmother of all things fitness and diet in modern Hollywood. Since the early 1990s, when she first appeared on the scene as Rachel Green, to her marriage to her equally toned and tanned ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2000, she ruled the '90s pop culture scene — and the wellness trends that went with it. Though she loves the occasional indulgence of her favorites (Mexican food and a margarita), she’s famously disciplined with her plant-based diet — even eating the same salad every day for 10 years during Friends. As for her fitness routine, the always bikini body-ready actress has spoken extensively in the past about loving meditation and yoga with famed instructor Mandy Ingber. In fact, in 2014, Ingber gave Us the secret to getting Aniston’s svelte physique — long, lean muscles, toned abs and all. “Yoga, cardio and eat really, really cleanly,” said the guru. “No sugar! She's a no-sugar girl.” Other than that, Aniston’s key was and is consistency in her fitness plan. That is the difference between Jen and someone who is going through some sort of transformative program. With Jen, the challenge is less on Jen and more on her coach — me. The Morning Show star, who slayed during season 2 of the AppleTV+ series in the fall of 2021, revealed in her InStyle cover story how she stays in shape.

“I had an injury last fall and I was only able to do Pilates, which I absolutely love. But I was missing that kind of sweat when you just go for it,” she said in the September 2021 issue. “I'm going back to my 15-15-15, which is a 15-minute spin, elliptical, run. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”

In fact, the Gloveworx founder advised that everyone should follow the actress’ example when it comes to staying hydrated. “You should never really be feeling dehydrated and hydration is something that is done weekly,” he told Us. “By the time you're feeling dehydrated and your body feels like it's yearning for water, it's kind of too late by that point. You can't just go and chug a gallon. This is something you have to be on top of intermittently day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month. That's how you hydrate.”

On June 10, Aniston killed it at the premiere of her new movie, Murder Mystery, in a sleeveless leather minidress that made her toned arms, muscular legs and slim waist look better than ever. The reason for her fit physique, however, is anything but a mystery. Besides the boxing sessions with coach Leyon Azubuike that she’s dedicated herself to, the actress makes it a point to eat clean. “My general philosophy is to eat healthy,” she’s told Yahoo Food. “It’s pretty clear: Eat as much organic fruits and veggies as you can, keep sugar low, drink tons and tons of water and get good sleep.” While she added she allows for indulgences “once in awhile,” she doesn’t have a specific allowance: “I’m good at keeping my starches to a minimum. I don’t like ‘white’ foods, and I’ll always cut back on some breads if I’m trying to slim down for something special. But I don’t give myself any rules anymore.”

For the last two years, three or four of those days have been with my beloved Leyon [Azubuike], who is my boxing coach. He has given me a love for working out that I’ve never quite had before.
