Baby on board! 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? season 3 stars Paola and Russ Mayfield are expecting their first child together!

We can’t believe we are going to be parents — we are already so in love with our baby,” the TLC personalities tell Us Weekly exclusively. “We are ready for this new adventure and we know it will bring us closer together. God has blessed us again, and this time, we are going as strong as our baby’s heartbeat!”
The joyous news comes after the couple, who married in October 2013, revealed earlier in the season that they had suffered a miscarriage. Russ and Pao had been trying to conceive and were finally successful, but shortly after learning she was expecting, she had a miscarriage.
As documented on the hit TLC docuseries, a doctor explained to the model that the miscarriage was due to her having type O-negative blood that was also Rh-negative, which is rare. According to the National Institutes of Health, when a woman is Rh-negative and a fetus is Rh-positive, the woman’s body will treat the fetus’ blood as a foreign substance, which can lead to miscarriages. But with proper care and treatment, doctors can prevent the Rh incompatibility.
The heartbreaking loss caused a rift in Russ and Pao’s relationship, with the Colombian native accusing the engineer of not discussing their loss and being there for her emotionally. In response, Russ, who is from Oklahoma, accused his wife of shutting him out and not wanting to talk about the miscarriage.
In a July 7 Instagram post, Russ defended himself and their marriage after an episode showed him being reluctant to have Pao model topless. “I am tired of the comments from the marriage ‘experts’ stating I deserve better, my wife doesn’t respect me, or she only loves me for my money,” he captioned a photo of himself kissing his wife, his hands on her thong bikini-clad bottom. “The mere glimpse of our lives shown doesn’t always show our best moments but impressions and impressions from our cultural differences and how we are coming together as an even stronger couple. … I am proud of where I come from and where I am going and that’s with the love of my life.”
Pao also hinted on Sunday, July 22, that life is good. She captioned a photo of herself in a body-hugging dress: “When your life is glowing as your dress and you don’t have time for negativity.”
