Family of four! Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa are now the proud parents of two baby boys after welcoming their second child together.
Kennedy arrived on Tuesday, May 7, at 9:11 a.m. after nearly 11 hours of labor, which the couple documented for a YouTube video. “Thank you to the supportive and sweet staff who helped me through another medicine free birth! Happy National Nurses Week to you all!” Faagata added on Instagram.
The 90 Day Fiancé stars, who welcomed their first son, Oliver, in January 2018, found out that they were expecting less than a year later during an episode of the TLC show. Faagata was bashed for her reaction to the news and took to Instagram to explain herself.
“I had antepartum depression while pregnant with Oliver, to the point that I wanted to kill myself,” she explained on social media in December 2018. “Once the baby came, I had postpartum depression: I wasn’t bonding with him, I cried all the time and wanted to die again.”
She added: “Please know that I was concerned about the well-being of my son because of my mental state when I’m pregnant, not that I was ungrateful to be pregnant. Wishing you all the very best, and that all of the positivity and light you spread to others gets sent right back to you!”
In January, the pregnant reality star revealed the sex of baby No. 2. “We’re having another boy,” she wrote on Instagram along with a family photo in front of a sonogram shot.
“I’m now 24 weeks and due at the end of April. Anyone else think they look like twins?” she asked, referring to Oliver and his unborn baby brother.
Pulaa shared the same picture to his account, writing, “Yaayyyyy it’s another BOY.”
He and Faagata met in July 2016 when the California native stayed at the Samoan resort where her now-husband worked. She lost her virginity to Pulaa and became pregnant.
After welcoming Oliver, the reality stars wed in September 2018.
