Aaron Carter has a lot to be thankful for this year, but is a baby one of them? The singer hinted in multiple social media posts on Tuesday, November 20 that his girlfriend, Lina Valentina, is pregnant and expecting the couple’s first child.
“I’m in such an amazing place mentally, physically & emotionally. I finally bought my first home and I’m going to be proposing soon to my gf and we might just be expecting…” The 30-year-old “I Want Candy” crooner wrote, sparking speculation that he’s going to be a dad.
He later added: “I have a lovely woman by myside and we’re very excited about our future and our family we are starting,” adding the male, female and baby emoji.
E! News reported later that same day that the pair are, in fact, going to be parents.
The Love artist hasn’t been shy about showing his adoration for Valentina since the two started dating earlier this year.
“I finally found my love of my life no one has understood me and shown the love this woman has for me EVER,” he gushed alongside a photo of his love in September. “@lina_valentina you have my heart for the rest of my life our relationship is new but we WILL grown old together and have our family and I will cherish honor respect and be the man I’ve always wanted to be because you’ve shown me you’re the woman I’ve always dreamed of.”
Carter added: “You are my light, you are my dream and I will never give up on us no matter what and you are my queen. I love you with every inch of my heart and soul. Relationships aren’t easy. But I want you to know I will never fall out of love with you. I’m coming home to you tomorrow.”
Prior to news of their romance, the Florida native opened up about his desire to be a dad in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in December 2017.
“I was thinking about adopting. I want kids so bad,” Carter told Us at the time. “I turned 30 and I’m like, ‘Alright, my resolution is to have a kid.’ But not just a kid. A beautiful woman or man, because we can have kids too.” (The “How I Beat Shaq” singer came out as bisexual in August 2017.)
