Family time! Amber Portwood shared a photo of her 9-year-old daughter, Leah, and her newborn son, James, meeting for the first time.
“Big Sis and little James! She was so excited to meet her little brother,” the Teen Mom OG star wrote on Wednesday, May 9, alongside a photo of Leah holding James.

Us Weekly exclusively revealed on Tuesday, May 8, that Portwood, 27, gave birth to her first child with her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon. (Portwood shares Leah with her ex-fiancé, Gary Shirley.)
A rep for the MTV personality told Us on Tuesday that James was born at 1:39 a.m. and weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
Portwood opened up to Us Weekly in February about how “excited” Leah was about becoming a big sister again. (Shirley shares 2-year-old daughter Emilee with his wife, Kristina.)
“It was really cute. I mean, she kind of just like looked at me like, ‘Wait a minute, no way.’ And I was like, ‘Yup. Yup Booboo. This is happening,’” the Never Too Late author said at the time. “But you know, when I have her she likes to rub on my belly. She’ll ask me if James is moving. She’ll say, ‘Are you hungry? Is James hungry? I’m gonna feed you both.’ She’s just really sweet about it.”
The mother of two added that she is going to keep Leah “in the loop of everything” she does with James.
“You know, if there’s any big family events, pictures or we’re going out and doing certain things during the spring or little vacations, like Leah … I always want her with us, I always want her at big events, anything that we do with James,” she explained. “I want them to have a close relationship like me and my brother did growing up and you know I don’t like the step brother/step sister thing and we don’t really do that in this family. She doesn’t say that about her sisters over there, so you know, I wanna make it one big family and everybody will hopefully get along for the better. You know, that’s my goal for all of us … Gary, Kristina and everybody.”
