One day at a time. Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan are slowly and steadily getting into the flow of coparenting one month after reaching a temporary custody agreement.
“That’s progress in the works. Hopefully, I mean, we’ll see what happens,” Patridge, 33, who was temporarily granted sole legal and physical custody of her 2-year-old daughter, Kirra, with Bohan, 36, in November, exclusively told Us Weekly at her Prey Swim Resort Swimwear Celebration on Wednesday, December 12. “We go to mediation in January so hopefully things can be worked out cordially and done in the right way for our daughter.”
Meanwhile, the Hills alum — who filed for divorce from Bohan in September 2017 after 10 months of marriage — is enjoying spending quality time with her toddler. “Kirra’s very independent as well. She’s very strong-willed and she loves to help me with everything,” Patridge gushed of her little one lending a helping hand. “So she’s in the swim office with me helping me go through inventory. I hope that she learns from me and it sticks with her.”
Although Kirra won’t be appearing on The Hills: New Beginnings in 2019 due to Patridge’s desire to “keep her as innocent and pure” for as long as possible, the MTV personality looks forward to returning to her roots.
“It’s been great reconnecting with everyone and starting up where we left off basically. It’s been a wild ride,” she told Us, teasing that fans will see her on-again, off-again relationship with Ryan Cabrera continue to unfold. “I love Ryan. He’s always been a part of my life and no matter if we’re together or not, we’re always in each other’s lives but I still talk to him every day. We hangout, like, there’s no label on it. We’re not making it into something, we’re just living and enjoying each other and seeing where it takes us.”
Us broke the news in September that the designer and the musician split after four months together. They previously dated for five months in 2010.
