What a way to kick off the spring! Beverley Mitchell and husband Michael Cameron welcomed their first child together, daughter Kenzie Lynne, on Thursday, March 28, the actress' rep confirms to Us Weekly.
The couple's tiny daughter was born at 5 lbs., 15 oz and measured 18 1/2 inches in Santa Monica, Calif., according to the rep.
This is the first child for Mitchell, 32, and her husband of four and a half years, accountant Cameron.
The former 7th Heaven actress previously told Us that the happy couple had narrowed down their baby's name down to a few options, but didn't want to make a final decision until they actually set eyes on their little bundle of joy.
"We want to meet her first," she told Us at the Biggest Baby Shower Ever event in Hollywood on March 14. "I already know she's got tons of personality in there, because she's definitely an active one: turns, kicks, jabs, the whole nine yards!"
And luckily for Mitchell, little Kenzie Lynne will get a chance to have quite a few playmates soon to release all that energy — the actress told Us that quite a few of her close friends also have babies on the way.
"I'm actually the first one out of my closest friends to have a baby, but I've got a few right behind me: JoAnna Garcia, Jenna Dewan, Jamie-Lynn Sigler," she said. "Hopefully I'll have a lot of tips for them. They'll see how I get along and then we'll figure it out."
