Busy Philipps, Evan Rachel Wood Found Out They Were Pregnant On the Same Day

Busy Philipps and Evan Rachel Wood

Who knew!? In a hilariously unexpected moment at a special screening for A Case of You in Los Angeles last night, costars Busy Philipps and Evan Rachel Wood realized they had one big thing in common — they found out they were pregnant on the very same day! It all went down during a panel for their new film at the Regal Theatre Stadium.

During the panel, Philipps and Wood recalled how they were both pregnant during filming while actor Justin Long — who wrote the screenplay — was simultaneously getting over a recent breakup.

"I got pregnant October 10th," Philipps, 34, revealed. "Oh my God! I swear to God that's the day that I got pregnant," Wood chimed in. Philipps' response? "Shut up!"

The Cougar Town actress welcomed her second daughter, Cricket, on July 2 with husband Marc Silverstein. The couple are already parents to Birdie, 5. Wood, 26, gave birth to a baby boy with hubby Jamie Bell just weeks later on July 30.

Though a huge coincidence, Philipps swears that Wood's character Birdie in the film wasn't named after her own daughter. "It was something else. But, I do remember reading it — and because we are friends with Justin outside of this movie we did ask him, my husband asked him," she told Us Weekly on the red carpet.

As for Cricket — who she lovingly calls "Crickles" — she's reaching milestones each day. "She just started rolling from her tummy to her back, so that's exciting," Philipps said of her 3-month-old to Us. "She laughs really hard now."

Big sister Birdie loves to help out with the new little one, but has her limits! "She's interested in cuddling and loving and singing," the Dawson's Creek alum gushed. "But, when I ask her, for instance, to get like a diaper cloth or a burp cloth or a diaper for me, she says, 'Mom, that's boring and I don't want to do that.'"
