Way to make an entrance! Chrissy Teigen barfed up her breakfast at her 2-year-old daughter Luna’s preschool orientation on Monday, August 20 — and she apologized to all the fellow parents on Twitter.
“I’m sorry I projectile puked caffeine upon arrival,” the model wrote later that afternoon. “Couldn’t open my eyes and had the noisiest newborn in the room. (Not a joke, very sorry, see you tomorrow).”

In a follow-up message, the Lip Sync Battle cohost, who also shares 3-month-old Miles with her husband, John Legend, explained three factors contributed to her nausea. “Oh no it was not first day of school jitters,” Teigen, 32, revealed. “It was last night’s wine and Korean bbq and jet lag combo.” (The family just returned to Los Angeles from a long vacation in Bali, which is 15 hours ahead.)
Ricky Choi, a dad who witnessed the scene, sent the Cravings: Hungry for More cookbook author a virtual hug. “Great seeing you there! The struggle is real and we’ve all been through it,” he wrote. “You and @johnlegend are awesome parents and handled it respectfully. Hope Luna has a great school year.”
The couple arrived in Bali in July and returned home on August 18. When a fan on Twitter questioned the length of the vacation, Teigen responded: “I have an incredible amount of s—t to do in September and October so we are taking now to breathe! Plus Luna has her first day of school soon.”
Teigen and the 39-year-old R&B singer will celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary in September.
