Chrissy Teigen posted a throwback pic of her nude baby bump in celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12.
“The best thing I’ve ever made are my babies,” the 33-year-old captioned the black-and-white mirror selfie that showed her heavily pregnant with either daughter Luna, 3, or son Miles, 11 months. “Thank you for making me a mommy and changing my life forever.”
“Wish I looked as good as this not pregnant,” one commenter wrote, while another exclaimed, “Most beautiful bump I’ve ever seen! I did not look like this when I was expecting my son.”
The Cravings author’s husband, John Legend, shared a video of photos of his wife and their two kids on Sunday, writing, “Happy Mother’s Day to my Queen! Luna, Miles and I love you so much and we’re so grateful for you everyday!”
The Lip Sync Battle host has been open about her battle with post-partum depression after Luna’s birth and has hit back at trolls who criticized her post-baby body, telling one critic last month, “I don’t care about my weight.”
In an interview with Good Housekeeping in January, she talked about what it’s like to get hit with negative comments on social media and how she doesn’t let it get to her.
“It’s all about trying to be happy with myself. Because I’m not blind: I see my body, I see the difference in shape, I see that I gained weight. But I also see with those same eyes that I have a beautiful baby boy, and this little girl that’s relentless and amazing, and I am very happy,” she said. “This is a new thing that I can change within my mind, that I don’t have to be a swimsuit model anymore. I get to be a mommy, and I get to cook, and I get to meet incredible people, and I’m happy to be going through this transition.”
