Let’s just ban the phrase “bouncing back” once and for all. Chrissy Teigen, who gave birth to her second child 10 weeks ago, posted a video of her stretch marks via Twitter on Monday, July 30. “I guess these aren’t going away,” mused the bikini-clad model. “This is my body.”

Teigen, 32, admitted in a follow-up tweet that she compares herself to other women on social media. “Instagram is crazy. I think it’s awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!),” wrote the Lip Sync Battle cohost. “But I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing.”
She added: “Also I don’t really call this ‘body confidence’ because I”m not quite there yet. I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves.”

Teigen has been helping to normalize stretch marks and cellulite since before she became a mom. Back in 2015, the star gave social media followers an up close and personal view of the “stretchies” on her thigh. A year later, she Snapchatted a similar image with the caption, “my thighs have tributaries.”
