Courteney Cox and 14-year-old daughter Coco Arquette looked perfect at Ed Sheeran’s concert in London, England, on Tuesday, June 19.
A grown up looking Coco and her pal posed on the red carpet with Friends alum Cox before the fundraising show that benefited the Irish Community Centre. Coco rocked a velvet coat, a black crop top and high-waisted denim, while mom paired a leather jacket with faded jeans.
Cox, who shares Coco with ex-husband David Arquette, has a special relationship with Sheeran. The “Shape of You” singer, 27, introduced the actress to her fiancé Snow Patrol frontman Johnny McDaid. Four-time Grammy winner Sheeran revealed to British paper The Sun in 2014 that he actually lived at The Cougar Town star’s Malibu mansion for several months while he was writing music for his album X.
Last year, Cox opened up to Us Weekly about her environmentally conscious teen. “She goes to a school that’s extremely progressive and, luckily, she knows almost more than I do,” the Scream star told Us. “She teaches me everything. Recycling, not wasting, conserving water.”
Coco also knows a thing or two about makeup. “She thinks it’s beautiful artistry,” Cox told NewBeauty magazine in 2017. “Luckily, at school she can only wear mascara, but not he weekends you would think she’s going out to a racer at 2 a.m. — eyeliner, mascara, highlighter on her cheeks . . . I know some people think I should rein her in with the makeup, but it’s a form of self-expression.”
Cox and Arquette 45, split after 14 years of marriage in June 2014, but remain friendly. “It wasn’t a dramatic ending. I mean, as divorces go, I would say it’s one of the better ones,” she told Us in 2017. “We’re good coparents together.”
Ireland native McDaid, 41, proposed to Cox in June 2014. They briefly separated in December 2015, but reconciled in 2016.
