He has a name! After giving birth this past weekend, Emily Maynard and her husband, Tyler Johnson, have finally decided on a name for their newborn baby — Gatlin Avery.
The Bachelorette alum, 31, took to Instagram to share the news on Thursday, November 16, alongside some adorable new photos the bundle of joy. “We finally came up with a name and were able to leave the hospital! Meet Gatlin Avery Johnson,” she captioned the snaps. “The sweetest little brother this family ever could’ve asked for.”
Johnson also shared a photo of his new son on his page, writing: “Gatlin Avery Johnson. 8lbs 5oz.20”. May you love the Lord and love the brotherhood. John 13:35, 1 Peter 2:17.”
Earlier this week, the TV personality announced the baby’s arrival and asked her fans to help her with name suggestions. “God is so good… my cup runneth over… welcome New Baby Johnson to the world,” she wrote on Monday. “If anyone has any good boy names send them my way! We need help!”
Fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages and tons of name ideas for the baby, including Hudson, Logan, Samuel and Jacob.
Gatlin is Maynard’s fourth child. She and Johnson are already parents of sons Jennings Tyler, 2, and Gibson Kyle, 14 months. She’s also mom of daughter Ricky, 12, from a previous relationship.
Maynard is best known for appearing on season 8 of The Bachelorette. She and Johnson tied the knot in 2014.
