Eminem is a grandpa again after his eldest daughter, Alaina Scott, gave birth to her first baby with husband Matt Moeller.
“My heart outside my body. She’s everything and more,” Alaina, 33, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, April 16, alongside photos of her baby girl. “Scottie Marie Moeller born 4/14/26, welcome to the world my sweet darling🕊️.”
Alaina then revealed the sweet meaning behind her daughter’s name.
“Scottie, in honor of my ‘Scott sisters,’” she shared, referring to siblings Hailie Jade, 30, and Stevie Lane, 24. “The women who have given the name and my life so much meaning. May she now give it a meaning of her own and always know how loved she is, by mom + dad, and her aunties.”
Alaina concluded by sharing a message to Matt, whom she married in 2023.
“To my husband, I can’t believe she’s ours,” she wrote. “Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life. I love you endlessly.”
Two of the photos showed Scottie sporting a white knit onesie with her name embroidered on the front and a matching headband. Additionally, Alaina shared a snap of herself sitting beside Matt in a hospital bed while cradling their newborn. Alaina and Scottie sported matching pink outfits, while Matt wore a hat that read, “Girl Dad.”
Alaina announced her pregnancy in October 2025, sharing several photos of the moment she told Matt they were expecting.
“THE BEST OF YOU + ME,” she captioned the Instagram post. “For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way. There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming, and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear. I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we’ve wanted for so long. Thank you God for this blessing.”
Alaina concluded, “Baby M, we can’t wait to meet you, little one🤍.”
Baby Scottie marks Eminem’s second grandchild after Hailie welcomed son Elliot Marshall with husband Evan McClintock in March 2025. The baby’s moniker is a nod to Hailie’s father, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III.
Eminem revealed Hailie’s pregnancy back in October 2024 with his “Temporary” music video, which included an emotional clip of Hailie giving her dad a ”No. 1 Grandpa” jersey and a sonogram image.
Eminem shares Alaina, Hailie and Stevie with ex-wife Kim Scott. He adopted Alaina in the early 2000s, as her biological mother, Kim’s sister Dawn, struggled with substance abuse. He later adopted Stevie in 2005 after she was born to Kim, 51, and then-boyfriend Eric Hartter.
