Forget the workout gear and maternity pants! Jenna Dewan-Tatum ditched her usual casual wear for a dressier look during a date night out with husband Channing Tatum on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
The photogenic couple, who announced their pregnancy back in December, held hands as they left L.A. eatery The Little Door, with Dewan-Tatum, 32, showing off her baby bump in a floor-length black maxi dress and tumbling curls.
Tatum, also 32, kept things a little more dressed-down, with a dark grey pullover and jeans. The Side Effects actor recently told E! News that he’s never found his wife more attractive than she is now, pregnant belly and all.
“I think it’s one of the sexiest things ever!” he said about Dewan-Tatum’s pregnancy on a recent Super Bowl weekend tour of his New Orleans bar, Saints and Sinners. The pair, who wed in July 2009 after first meeting on the set of dance flick Step Up in 2006, are “over the moon” about their impending bundle of joy, a pal recently told Us Weekly.
The proud papa-to-be, in fact, has been “wanting this for a long time,” so much so that he recently confirmed to Us that he’ll likely be taking time off from acting toward the end of the year.
“The rest of this year is going to be pretty nuts,” he said at the NYC premiere of Side Effects. “We’re going to take a break and my [production] partner [Reid Carolin] and I, we’re going to try to, like, direct and do some things like that.”
“The rest of this year is going to be pretty nuts,” he continued. “Even during having the baby — the baby-having process — it’s going to be intense.”
