Are playdates at the Jersey Shore in Deena Cortese’s future? The MTV reality star certainly hopes so! Deena recently spoke to Us Weekly about starting a family with her husband, Christopher Buckner.
“Yes! Baby fever totally. We plan on starting to try. We’re trying! I’m very excited,” the 31-year-old told Us at the Jersey Shore Family Vacation premiere in Los Angeles on March 29. “ He wants to have three. I would be fine with two, but the more the merrier, right?”
“Hopefully we get pregnant soon! But yeah,” she added about future playdates with Jersey Shore castmates Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, who each have two children with their respective husbands, Jionni LaValle and Roger Matthews.
Deena also revealed that she gets advice from her MTV gal pals.
“I talk to the girls all the time about it and they say, ‘Listen, you’re going to be trying but don’t get crazy about it because it won’t happen,’” she explained. “I have anxiety to begin with so I’m trying to be like super chill about it but, you know, it takes time. They told me not to stress out about it or think too much, just to have fun and when it happens it happens. That’s what we’re doing. “
The reality TV personality, who wed Buckner in October 2017, gushed to Us about her husband: “I love being married. He’s the most supporting husband he’s amazing. I got very lucky. I don’t know how I found him.”
According to the Couples Therapy star, her husband was even more thrilled than she was about the Jersey Shore reunion series, Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
“I was with him the last season but he was so excited about it,” Deena explained. “He was like, ‘This is awesome! You guys always wanted this.’ He was more excited than I was! He was so excited for us.”
Jersey Shore Family Vacation premieres on MTV Thursday, April 5, at 8 p.m. ET.
