Getting ahead of herself! Kate Hudson’s son, Ryder, is only 15 years old, but the actress already can’t wait to go drinking with him.
“He’s almost 6 feet,” the Fabletics creator, 39, said on an upcoming episode of the Rachael Ray Show, airing April 22. “I used to dream about that day, like, ‘One day, honey, I’m going to be looking up to you.’ And the other day, he gave me a hug and I almost burst into tears. It’s crazy, it’s amazing, it’s beautiful.”
The Almost Famous star added: “People kind of go, ‘I want to freeze them when they’re little.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t, actually.’ I’m having a blast. I can’t wait to go to a bar with my kid — is that weird? He’s so much fun!”
Hudson welcomed Ryder with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson, in 2004, followed by Bingham, now 7, with her ex-fiancé, Matt Bellamy, in 2011.
After two boys in a row, the Pretty Fun author welcomed her first baby girl in October 2018 with her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa.
“She’s here,” Hudson wrote on Instagram at the time. “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor. Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”
Six months later, the fashion designer told Rachael Ray that she isn’t necessarily done growing her family.
“I would have 100 kids,” she admitted. “I love being pregnant. I didn’t like the third trimester on this one. It was pretty brutal, but I’d still do it again.”
