Kellie Pickler and Husband Kyle Jacobs Aren’t Ready for Kids Yet: ‘We’re Dog Parents’ (Exclusive)

Never say never! Kellie Pickler and her husband, Kyle Jacobs, aren’t ready to have kids yet, but they do have a family of dogs.

“We have two little small puppies,” the American Idol alum, 32, told Us Weekly exclusively on Thursday, May 23, on the set of Hallmark’s “Home & Family” at Universal Studios Hollywood. “We’re dog parents for now.”

While she and the country singer, 45, who tied the knot in 2011, don’t have a little one on the way, one of their friends just became a first-time mom — Duchess Meghan!

“So excited for her,” the Christmas at Graceland actress told Us. “She is a sweet, sweet woman. She’s amazing. Me and my husband, we did a [United Service Organizations] tour with her a few years ago with the joint Chief of Staff at the time, and that’s where we first met her. She is wonderful.”

When asked if the Duchess of Sussex, 37, would be an amazing mom, Pickler told Us, “Absolutely. No doubt in my mind.” The I Love Kellie Pickler star added: “I haven’t seen her since she’s been across the pond, but I do very much adore her.”

The Suits alum and Prince Harry welcomed their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6, sharing the news of his birth on Instagram.

“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz,” the royal pair wrote at the time. “The duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.”
