Doing things her own way. Khloe Kardashian may be surrounded by sisters who have — and have very recently welcomed — lots of babies, but the new mom just revealed that they aren’t always who she goes to when she has a question about her baby girl.
The 33-year-old reality star opened up about navigating the waters of motherhood in a post to her Khloe with a K blog on Tuesday, May 1.
“When it comes to pregnancy and parenting, I’ve taken advice with a grain of salt,” she wrote. “Everyone has their own style.”
She added, “That’s why my apps and mommy sites have really come in handy. When I want a quick answer or to check in with what’s considered normal, I just pick up my phone,” before noting which digital helper she uses for what.
The Strong Looks Better Naked author revealed that one of the apps What to Expect comes from a “trusted resource for moms since my mom was popping us out.” She said that the app is “based on a famous book by Heidi Murkoff” and “is probably the most comprehensive of all of the baby apps.”
As for her go-to for all things tracking and scheduling, Kardashian says, “[I use] Baby Connect — This app helps me log everything from True’s feedings to her diaper changes (so crazy we have to keep track of this sh*t!) It basically helps with sanity when sleep is nonexistent. (OMG, sleeeeeeeep!).”
And as all mothers can relate, when times get tough and you need at-your-fingertips medical advice, the Good American founder reveals that she uses the Sprout app. “Sprout is written by doctors, so you know the intel is legit,” she says. “It’s super detailed and has really cool interactive features.”
As previously reported, Khloe gave birth to a baby girl, True, with boyfriend Tristan Thompson earlier this month. Two days prior to welcoming their first child together, the 28-year-old NBA player made headlines for allegedly cheating on Kardashian after pictures of him kissing other women surfaced.
Us Weekly has since confirmed that Thompson had been unfaithful to Kardashian with multiple women since at least November. The KUWTK star has yet to break her silence on the scandal.
