Kim Kardashian’s baby shower has been postponed amid Lamar Odom’s hospitalization, Us Weekly can confirm.
A source tells Us that the family decided to cancel the Beverly Hills bash on Wednesday, Oct. 14. It was scheduled to be held on Saturday at the family home of Allison Azoff — the same estate where Odom and Khloe Kardashian tied the knot in September 2009.
“There was just no way the family wanted to go through with it,” the source tells Us, noting that plans to reschedule have not yet been made. (Kardashian and Kanye West, already parents to 2-year-old daughter North, announced in May that they are expecting again.)
E! was first to report the news.
As previously reported, the pregnant star traveled to be with younger sister Khloe as she remains by Odom’s bedside at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. The former NBA star was found unconscious and bleeding from the nose and mouth on Tuesday, Oct. 13, after a four-day stay at the nearby Love Ranch brothel. Khloe — who is still legally married to Odom despite having signed divorce papers in July — is responsible for his medical decisions.
Khloe has been receiving plenty of support from her loved ones since news broke of Odom’s condition. Mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie have also been photographed outside the hospital.
“The whole family is hoping he pulls through,” a source previously told Us. “[Khloe] will be there hoping he pulls through, but I hear the situation is not very good.”
