Kim Zolciak cannot win on the internet lately. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum was slammed on social media after she shared photos of her daughters Kaia and Brielle Biermann.
Zolciak, 40, first faced backlash on Wednesday, December 26, after she posted a photo of 5-year-old Kaia riding a scooter with her butt exposed, along with the caption, “Well.. @kaiabiermann is out here enjoying her new skooter! 🙈🙈 😂😂 #LIVINGHERBESTLIFE.” The Don’t Be Tardy star blurred her daughter’s backside, but fans still flooded her Instagram comments with criticism.
“Kids will be kids but not social media appropriate,” one person replied to the photo.
A second user commented, “Attention seeking at its best! KIM DAMMIT! Are you freaking serious!”
A third person added: “Not a fan of this picture being posted although I know it is innocent. Way too many sick people in this crazy world. She is a cutie.”
The following day, Zolciak shared a photo of her 21-year-old daughter, Brielle, whose lips were swollen, on Christmas morning. While the Bravo star was quick to turn off the comments on the photo, fans on Twitter responded to Zolciak’s link to the pic.
“Oh the lips. It’s not good!” one fan wrote.
Another person added, “I think she had an allergic reaction to something? I’m guessing? Hope she’s ok!”
“Holy s—t….what’s wrong with her lips,” a third user quipped.
Zolciak has yet to publicly respond to the backlash for either photo, but she previously opened up exclusively to Us Weekly about dealing with haters online, citing Brielle’s lips as an example of the backlash she receives.
“Messing with my kids is gonna be a big one, you know? … Let’s use Brielle’s lips, right? So when Brielle wanted her lips done. It was something that she’s never really liked,” Zolciak told Us in July. “She’s always talked about wanting bigger lips. She turned 18, I took her to the best. That’s her decision, her choice. I took her to the best. She was very open because she said she didn’t want other girls that felt like her to not know that there wasn’t an option. So she shared that with the world. Then, they’re like, ‘You look like a duck, you look awful, they look terrible, blah, blah, blah,’ and Brielle’s like, ‘Well f—k, maybe I shouldn’t say anything.’ I said, ‘No, you just basically do you.’”
Both Zolciak and her eldest daughter have been open about their decisions to get lip injections in the past.
