Protective poppa! Anthony D’Amico was not happy watching his 2-month-old daughter, Mila, get shots.
“Mila went in for her 2 month check up today,” the Married at First Sight star, 35, wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, March 20. “Did any other parents out there have an overwhelming urge to punch out the nurse while they were giving the baby their shots? Oh, my god that was horrible!”
The reality star and his wife, Ashley Petta, welcomed their baby girl in January. “Our little peanut Mila Rose made her debut 3 weeks early on 1/12/19 at 3:34 a.m. weighing 4 pounds and 14 ounces,” the couple said in a statement to Us. “We never knew we could love someone so much! She is perfect in every way. Holding her for the first time was the most amazing surreal moment of my life.”
Petta, 31, added: “Watching Anthony take care of her makes me love him even more. He’s already an amazing daddy. We can’t wait to show this sweet little baby girl the world.”
The pair tied the knot in August 2016, and their journey aired on the TLC show a year later. D’Amico and Petta revealed in August 2018 that they were expecting their first child.
“We have always dreamed of having a child and we are so happy to finally be making our dreams come true together,” the mom-to-be wrote on Instagram at the time. “We are over the moon and can not wait to welcome our child into the world. We can’t wait for this next journey in our lives to begin!”
To prepare for their newborn’s arrival, the couple moved from Chicago to the suburbs.
“The decision to leave Chicago was a difficult decision to make but ultimately best for our little growing family,” Petta announced on Instagram. “We can’t wait to bring our baby girl home to our new house!”
