Jon Gosselin has admitted he can't afford his $22,00-a-month court ordered child support, while his estranged wife Kate has signed on for two new TV shows and earned $10,000 to $50,000 per episode of Dancing With the Stars.

Still, 70 percent of UsMagazine.com readers (in a joint poll with AskMen.com) think Jon shouldn't accept child support or alimony from his estranged wife. (They are due in court next month to discuss custody of their eight children, but Jon has said they will settle their differences "amicably.")

"Everyone is telling Kate to get a regular job, how about Jon… he needs to go to work, and not live off… kids' child support money. He's a bum," snipes Us commenter Shelby. Read more AskMen.com tips for Jon.

Adds Sylvia, "Kate doesn't owe you a thing, you are divorced."

But AskMen.com reader Richie says Jon should “absolutely” accept dough from his ex. Adds commenter Roman, "Are we living in times of EQUAL RIGHTS or are we not?"

Agrees Clubsta, "You didn’t see her complaining when he was ordered to give her 20 grand a month. I hope he takes her to the cleaners!"

Us reader Suffragette is one of the first to turn the attention to the Gosselin kids.

"The show was horrible for the kids, and the marriage suffered because of the show," she says. "That being said, Kate is making money and Jon is not. If it were reversed, of course everyone would be saying that Jon should pay Kate. Hypocrites — and proof that the women's rights movement is still in the dark ages."
