He's a dad! Catfish host Nev Schulman and his fiancée, Laura Perlongo, have welcomed their first child together. The MTV star announced the news via social media on Friday, October 21.
"Best. Thing. Ever," Schulman, 32, captioned a pic on Instagram of his newborn daughter. "Cleo James arrived at 6:01am weighing 6lbs 10oz. Shout out to my baby mama @el_peego for delivering this bundle of joy."
In the photo, Schulman is holding his little girl at the hospital. He's shirtless while she's bundled up in a white blanket and pink hat.
Schulman revealed via Facebook that Cleo was born at the NYU Langone Medical Center. "I am speechless. No words can express the complete joy and total awe I feel for my beautiful partner and the tiny angel we created. I've never been so in love," he wrote. "Little baby Cleo and momma are both happy and healthy and doing great."
The new parents have been patiently awaiting her arrival. Last week, Perlongo dressed her growing belly like an island while taking a bath.
Schulman announced in May that the couple were engaged and expecting. In August, they opened up about their babymoon to Greece and Amsterdam exclusively with Us Weekly.
"Contrary to popular belief, you can ride on a boat when you’re pregnant," Perlongo told Us at the MTV Video Music Awards at Madison Square Garden in NYC.
Schulman chimed in: "We did all the things you are not supposed to do. Let me just say pregnant women can do anything."
