Baby’s first Christmas. Norman Reedus shared the first photo of his daughter with girlfriend Diane Kruger as his little girl celebrated her first holiday season on Monday, December 24.
“A lot to be thankful for this year. [Love] this one especially,” the Walking Dead star, 49, captioned an Instagram photo that showed his 1-month-old daughter’s tiny hand in his.
“Love u Diane Mingus @helenachristensen Happy family,” he continued, calling out his model ex-girlfriend and the 19-year-old son they share.
Us Weekly exclusively revealed in May that Reedus and the German actress, 42, were expecting a baby.
The private couple, who began dating in March 2017, welcomed their baby in November but didn’t reveal the child’s name or sex. The Welcome to Marwen star accidentally let the baby’s gender slip earlier this month. “She’s very little but I’m tired,” she told Extra. “I feel like a superhero right now.”
Kruger gave a shout-out to Reedus at Thanksgiving, writing on Instagram, “I have A LOT to be thankful for this year and I count my lucky stars to have met you @bigbaldhead and sharing life’s many blessings with you,” she wrote of the former model.
A source told Us in August that the couple “complement each other.” “They are so different,” the insider explained, “But they really do work.”
While Kruger is “so buttoned up and put together,” Reedus is “rough around the edges” but has a heart of gold.

“Norman is the best guy ever and would do anything for a friend,” the source added. “He takes care of people and is there in a second if anyone needs him.”
