Hilary Duff is on top of the world! The pregnant actress showed off her growing baby bump before heading off on romantic sunset hike with her boyfriend, Matthew Koma.
In a selfie shared to Instagram Story on Wednesday, June 13, the Younger actress, 30, wears a layered tank top and black yoga pants. She captioned the picture: “Waiting on my hiking buddy.” The next photo shows Duff and the songwriter, 31, climbing the mountain with two of their dogs. Later, she posted a shadowy, sunset snap of them at the top.
The Lizzie McGuire alum surprised fans on June 8 when she announced that she is expecting her first child — it’s a girl! — with Koma. Duff shares son Luca, 6, with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
Duff had her fingers crossed for a daughter. “I was so nervous beforehand because I thought for sure I was going to have a boy,” she admitted, during a Tuesday, June 12, appearance on KIIS-FM’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest. “I’m obsessed with Luca — but I just wanted one of each.” The “Why Not” singer added that after six years of buying “monsters and trucks and planes” she’s ready “for pink and purple stuff.”
Luca, however, has mixed feelings about getting a baby sister. “The beginning was a little . . . he was surprised, and now he’s warming up to the idea,” Duff revealed during The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday, June 11. “He told friends at school the other day that he’s having a sister that’s part red-butt monkey, so we’ll see. We never know.”
Duff and Koma broke up in March 2017, but reconciled a few months later. In December of that year she told The Talk: “Just because it doesn’t work out the first time, the second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done, then, it can always work out again.”
