Jillian Harris will no longer be outnumbered. The mom of 21-month-old Leo, announced on Wednesday, May 23, that she and her fiancé, Justin Pasutto, are expecting a baby girl.
In the adorable all-pink Instagram reveal, Harris, Pasutto, 30, and Leo all lick ice cream cones while their beloved dog, Nacho Cilantro, looks on wearing a cotton-candy hued bandana.
Harris captioned the post: “My heart could EXPLODE!!!! Up next . . . a baby GIRL!!!!” @justinpasutto are you ready for this!!??”
The season 5 Bachelorette admitted to Us Weekly in April that she would “love” to have a girl.
“Every woman dreams of having a baby daughter to dress in cute clothes and put little pink bows in their hair,” she told Us at the time. “But we’ll be excited no matter what.”
The Love It or List It Vancouver star is due to the first week of October — which means Leo has time to get used to the idea of sharing his parents. Harris predicted he might have trouble adjusting when baby No. 2 arrives.
“It’ll be his big competition. It’ll be interesting,” she told Us. “He gets very jealous. Even if I give Nacho too much attention, he’ll just come right over and try and get in there. Poor guy. But he has to get ready!”
The only problem is, the toddler doesn’t completely understand that his mom is pregnant. “He does point at my belly and says ‘baby,’” the Vancouver resident quipped. “But I think it’s just because we’ve trained him to do that. “He’s too young, but I”m sure he’ll understand more as the months go on.”
