Khloe Kardashian just can’t catch a break. Just one day after the 33-year-old was shamed for traveling to Japan while eight months pregnant, she took to Twitter with a message for her critics.

“People are very opinionated about my bump. I choose to cradle my bump because it’s MINE,” wrote Kardashian on Wednesday, February 28.  “I’ve waited for this VERY short moment for YEARS. I have only months to enjoy this phase in my life, so I will touch my bump and love my bump as often as I choose. Mommy loves you baby!”

More than 1,000 followers responded — many with words of love. “I held and cradled my bump all day long the entire 9 months I was pregnant! I even cuddled it when I slept. You are gonna miss that bump it’s gone I can tell you that,” one woman commented, to which Kardashian replied: “Bless you.”

As Us Weekly exclusively revealed, Kardashian is expecting her first child — a baby boy — with NBA player Tristan Thompson. On Tuesday, the mom-to-be, who was previously married to Lamar Odom from 2009 to 2016, broke down the recipe for a solid relationship.

“Trust. Communication when there is understanding. Allowing another to evolve and grow,” she wrote on her app. “Allowing yourselves to miss one another. Compromise, compromise, compromise — and no, that doesn’t mean you are weak. It means you are growing up.”

“Don’t try to change people. We must accept them for who they are,” she continued. “Forgive quickly and honestly. Be vulnerable and open about love.”
