Loosen the reins! Sara Foster’s BFF Kate Hudson thinks she needs to give her kids some space. “Kate tells me to relax,” the Barely Famous alum told Us Weekly at Rachel Zoe’s Spring 2019 Presentation in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 4. “She tells me I’m very uptight and not to be a helicopter parent.”

Foster, 37, shares daughters Valentina, 7, and Josephine, 2, with her tennis pro husband Tommy Haas. The pregnant actress, meanwhile, has sons, Ryder, 14, and Bingham, 6, from previous relationships with Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy, respectively, and is due to welcome a baby girl with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa this month.

According to Foster, her 39-year-old pal, who embraces the “hippie lifestyle,” is raising “amazing” kids. “So I try not to be a helicopter parent because of that,” the former Bravo star admitted to Us at the event that was sponsored by Belvedere Vodka. “But I’m struggling every day!”

The TV personality also had praise for fellow mama Jennifer Garner, who is single following her 2015 split from Ben Affleck. “I love Jen. She is like my total girl crush,” Foster gushed to Us. “She’s the best. She can cook. She can kick your butt and she’s beautiful and she’s the best mom.” (The exes are parents of Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.)

Foster has made her feelings very clear to the 13 Going on 30 actress. “I always tell her, ‘You make me ashamed to be a mom, to be a human.’ Because she’s genuinely perfect,” Foster explained. “I’m actually being really honest. Jen Garner is actual perfection.” Sara and her sister Erin Foster, who are creative heads of the dating app Bumble, know what Garner’s ideal match looks like.

“I would set her up with an athletic guy,” Foster revealed. “She needs an athletic guy, like strong, that can take her because she can kick ass.”
