Just bumpin’ along! Pregnant Scarlett Johansson and her fiance Romain Dauriac stepped out together days after it was revealed that the couple are expecting their first child. The soon-to-be parents were photographed shopping in Paris on Wednesday, March 5.
Johansson, 29, barely showed a glimpse of a burgeoning baby bump, as she bundled up in a knee-length black coat. After a brief chat, the couple went their separate ways: the Her actress did some solo shopping as the French journalist rode off on his scooter. She later bundled up at Charles de Gaulle airport. (Shortly before the big announcement, Johansson previously concealed her belly in a navy blazer at the 39th Cesar Film Awards in Paris on Feb. 28.)
Us confirmed on March 3 that the Avengers actress and Dauriac are expecting a little bundle of joy. The couple first went public with their relationship in November 2012, and announced their engagement last September.
Back in late 2012, motherhood didn’t seem to even be on Johansson’s radar. “I’m not having kids anytime soon, I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot, and, like I said, it’s not important to me,” she said in Elle UK.
“I would like to have my own family, that would be nice,” she added to Daily Mail in December 2013. “They say it’s never the right time and I am sure that’s true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else. At some point it is something I look forward to.”
