Oh no! Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed that her 4-year-old daughter, Giovanna, broke her arm after falling off of a bed.
“Yesterday was a mess for me,” the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star, 31, said on her Wednesday, March 6, Instagram Story. “This is my daughter’s X-ray. She fell off the bed on Saturday and I swore it was just bruised, but it still hurt yesterday, so I went to get her looked at. My poor baby! She broke that bone up there and she got a little chip. She should be fine in like four weeks, but what a sin. My poor baby.”
The Snooki Shop owner added the caption: “She’s okay! All smiles and still the same sissy! Just has to take it easy.”
Polizzi, who shares Giovanna and son Lorenzo, 6, with her husband, Jionni LaValle, and is currently pregnant with their third child, posted a pic later that day at the store holding a puzzle and a stuffed animal. “Buying sissy goodies so she feels better,” the reality star wrote. A few hours later, Giovanna showed off her toys in bed.
The little girl also shared a photo to her own Instagram account, smiling in the hospital with a sling. “Sissy broke her first bone,” the caption read. “Mommy told her smile as she tried on her sling so we can laugh about it when she’s older. She’s doing just great & can’t wait to be 100% again.”
Giovanna acted as her mom’s photographer before Polizzi debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at The Cut’s How I Get It Done event on Monday, March 4. The Strong Is the New Sexy author posed for pics in her kitchen prior to the event, sporting a fitted white top, a navy cardigan, black jeans and leopard-print booties.
