Dad on duty! Teen Mom OG’s Tyler Baltierra slammed social media trolls who made insensitive comments about his 1-month-old daughter, Vaeda, whom he shares with wife Catelynn Lowell.

The Tierra Reign founder’s Instagram account was flooded with negative remarks after he shared an adorable snapshot of Vaeda wearing a onesie. “This isn’t his baby, this baby is clearly another race,” one user wrote. Another user told Baltierra, 27, to “get a DNA test” to confirm he is Vaeda’s father.

Lowell, also 27, tried to make light of the situation by jokingly commenting, “Sorry babe I cheated and Vaedas not urs #peoplearecrazy #comeon.” However, Baltierra still clapped back at the haters himself.

“Wow. I’m actually just appalled at the ridiculously asinine comments about my newborn. We live in a world that is so divided, judgmental, self-righteous and opinionated … and unfortunately it’s very evident with these comments,” the reality star wrote in the comments section on the post. “Respectful MATURITY is having a strong opinion and voicing it when necessary. Disrespectful IMMATURITY is having a strong opinion and voicing it when it is NOT NECESSARY. Your deity knows all of your thoughts … but evil can only hear what comes out of your mouth.”

He added: “Live with love and speak with peace or karma is not going to be your ally, I can guarantee that!”

Us Weekly exclusively revealed on February 21 that the MTV personalities welcomed Vaeda. They also share Novalee, 4, and Carly 9, whom they placed for adoption in 2009.

Lowell gushed over the couple’s newest arrival while speaking exclusively to Us on Thursday, March 14: “She’s such a good baby — very chill and easy going … so far. Nova loves being a big sister and loves ‘her baby.’”

Although the pair weren’t trying to have another child after suffering a miscarriage in 2017, they consider Vaeda to be a miracle. “This baby is our rainbow after the storm,” Lowell told Us. “We were using protection and everything. This baby just wanted to be here. It is very unexpected.”
