So much pink. Pregnant Khloé Kardashian celebrated her baby shower at an over-the-top party in the Hotel Bel Air in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday, March 10.
The mom-to-be, who is expecting her first child — a girl — with NBA player boyfriend Tristan Thompson, wore a stunning, curve-hugging custom Sergio Hudson blush-colored dress that was embellished with embroidery and crystals for the pink-themed party.
Her family, including mom Kris Jenner, grandmother MJ Houghton, sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and friends like Real Housewives star Kyle Richards, shared images from the bash on social media, revealing a floor covered with pastel-toned balloons, giant topiary elephants, and a large round table surrounding a gigantic illuminated floral centerpiece. The table was set with pink plates topped with tiny wild animal figurines including lions and giraffes.
Guests were served pink champagne, pink and rose lemonade and pink martinis, a source tells Us Weekly. And French fries, the mom-to-be’s favorite food, were also on the menu.
Guests were given party favors that included an Amazon Echo (that enables them to test themselves on Keeping Up With the Kardashians quotes). Meanwhile, Khloé — who is registered on Amazon — was showered with gifts, including a mini BMW from brother Rob Kardashian, a stroller from mom Kris that had a sign on it that read, “To my bunny,” and a truck filled with books from sister Kourtney.
As fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians saw on the Sunday, March 4, episode, Khloé wasn’t exactly excited when she learned her baby’s gender. “I don’t feel like I’m having a girl,” she insisted. “I’m, like, in a state of shock.”
She’d been convinced that she was expecting a boy, but has now come around to the idea of having a mini-me, and shared a photo on Thursday, March 8, of pastel pink and purple clothes she’s collecting for her little girl.
The Revenge Body star hasn’t chosen a name for her baby yet, but tweeted on Sunday that she might continue with her family’s tradition and give her little girl a name starting with K.
“I think a T but a K is an option as well,” she wrote. “That’s as far as I know.”
