Spit-take! Ariana Grande is currently under fire for the security camera footage that was released on TMZ earlier this week, which showed her licking and spitting on donuts in a California store and declaring, “That’s f—king disgusting. I hate Americans. I hate America.”
Though the pop star publicly apologized on July 8, it hasn’t stopped her from getting called out by celebs and TV anchors alike. Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham had the harshest words for Grande, 22, on Thursday, July 9, during an appearance on the morning show Fox & Friends.
“Another spoiled, entitled pop princess who's benefited so lucratively from being in this country, from being an American,” Ingraham, 52, declared. “And yet when she doesn’t think anyone’s listening, she hates America. They’re all fat. They’re stupid. They don’t eat organic. They eat stuff like ramen noodles and mac and cheese.”
Ingraham continued slamming the “Love Me Harder” songstress, saying, “The last time I checked, those poor people who like to buy donuts also bought a lot of your stupid music. So maybe you should return that money to people who like jelly donuts, who also like Ariana Grande estupido…estupida!”
It should be noted that Grande hails from Boca Raton, Fla., and is of Italian, not Spanish, descent.
Ingraham didn’t let her frustrations fizzle out on the show. The reporter also took to Twitter to give the pop star her unfiltered thoughts.
“Another spoiled, entitled ungrateful pop princess like @ArianaGrande trash-talking the Americans who buy her inconsequential music,” she wrote. “Ungrateful @ArianaGrande is another reason to like @taylorswift13 — she carries herself with class, gratitude, humility. So fat ppl who like donuts shdnt buy @ArianaGrande music then. Let's see her survive on royalties from only thin ppl who eat organic.”
Several celebrities also took to Twitter to comment on the issue including Rob Lowe, Zach Braff, and Susan Sarandon.

In Grande’s apology she noted, “I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my country.” She did not acknowledge the alleged spitting and licking, but added, “As an advocate for healthy eating, food is very important to me and I sometimes get upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole.”
