As previously reported, Kardashian posted a throwback naked selfie via Instagram on Monday, March 7. Since then, celebrities and critics have been reacting to the snap on social media — Winter included.
"No one was body shaming @justinbieber when he posted his nude guitar photo so why @KimKardashian? #herbodyherchoice #InternationalWomensDay," Winter, 18, tweeted on Tuesday. (A photo of Bieber standing naked behind his guitar was obtained and published by TMZ in August 2013.)
She added, "I think everyone, men and women, should have the right to choose what they do with their bodies — and not be criticized."
Winter isn't the only one in Kardashian's corner. Stars such as Chrissy Teigen, Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian have applauded her, too. Bette Midler, Piers Morgan and Chloe Grace Moretz, however, have sided against her. (See everyone's comments in one place here.)
Winter is no stranger to taking a stand against body-shamers. The former child star slammed critics following her appearance at the 2016 SAG Awards in January. Her breast reduction scars were noticeable as she walked the red carpet at the time.
"Guys there is a reason I didn't make an effort to cover up my scars!" she tweeted after the event. "They are part of me and I'm not ashamed of them at all. :)"
