With a playful push from a persistent cameraman, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman packed on the PDA in front of thousands at the U.S. Open in New York City August 31.
Sitting in the front row with USTA president Jonathan Vegosen and his wife, Shari, the spouses of six years appeared on the kiss camera twice before “Kiss a Girl” singer Urban, 44, finally gave in leaned over Shari to give Kidman, 45, a big smooch.
The crowed cheered on the celebrity couple, who later watched U.S. tennis pro Andy Roddick, 30, beat Australian athlete Bernard Tomic, 19, in the second round. Urban and Kidman were seats away from Roddick’s model/actress wife, Brooklyn Decker, 25. (Kidman and Decker both appeared in the 2011 rom-com Just Go With It, also starring Jennifer Aniston, 43, and Adam Sandler, 45.)
On August 30, Roddick announced he would be retiring from tennis after competing in the U.S. Open. “I just feel like it’s time. I don’t know that I’m healthy enough or committed enough to go another year,” the 2003 champion explained. “I’ve always wanted to, in a perfect world, finish at this event.”
