Now that’s an awkward dinner conversation!
On the June 20 episode of The Bachelorette, JoJo Fletcher asks suitor Jordan Rodgers if he cheated on his ex-girlfriend, according to a show insider. Dallas real estate developer Fletcher, 25, has admitted that prior to taping the show, she had read online about the former football player’s casting. And on the upcoming episode, Fletcher reveals another twist: She had a chance encounter with one of his exes, trainer Brittany Farrar, last winter in Dallas.
“Brittany told JoJo that Jordan wasn’t a great boyfriend,” recounts the insider. “She said there were trust issues.” (On the night of the May 23 premiere, Farrar took to Instagram and blasted ex Rodgers as a cheater.)
Hoping to quash any reservations, Fletcher confronts Rodgers, 27, during a candlelit dinner in Uruguay. According to the show insider, “Jordan cops to flirting with other women, but he denies he was unfaithful.” His explanation saves him. Fletcher, says a second show source, “chooses to believe Jordan.”
Even so, the Bachelorette still can’t shake a feeling that something is off. “She feels like she’s the one courting him. She continues to have doubts,” says the show source.
Her fears are unfounded, adds a Rodgers pal. “He’s a good person,” says the friend of the Chico, California, native. “He’s a ladies’ man, but not a player.”
