So coy! Bethenny Frankel fielded questions about her rumored relationship with Eric Stonestreet on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, Aug. 11, heating up the talk that she’s dating the Modern Family actor.
The Real Housewives of New York City star, 44, was prompted to discuss Stonestreet, 43, when host Andy Cohen passed it over to a caller. The viewer asked Frankel to come clean about her relationship with Stonestreet, after staying mum on the topic on the Today show earlier that same day.
“Eric Stonestreet and I are friends,” the reality star said tentatively. “He’s an awesome guy. I don’t confirm or deny dating rumors and that’s what I’m saying.”
Sources told Us Weekly earlier this year that the two have been spending time together in the months since they first met in April. “They’re seeing where it goes,” an insider added, though neither Frankel or Stonestreet has explicitly confirmed or denied a romance.
“Eric’s awesome,” Frankel added before joking, “I said today, he’s a great actor, and we’re sleeping together tonight — he’s at my apartment right now.”
Frankel found herself back on the market this past March, when she split from then-boyfriend Michael “Mac” Cerussi. The star, who separated from Jason Hoppy in 2012, previously sounded off to Cohen on WWHL about her love life.
“I don’t know what I’m looking for, and I don’t know if I’m looking for anything,” she said in March. “I think the kind of guy that I would need to be with has to be able to handle me, which is a tall order.”
