Party on? Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy haven't been spotted together in public since they announced their split in late December, but on Saturday, May 4, they came together — in the same room, at least — to celebrate their daughter Bryn's 3rd birthday at Dylan's Candy Bar by Bloomingdales.
The couple initially pledged to work through their breakup "as a family," but things have become increasingly chilly between the Skinnygirl mogul and her estranged spouse ever since they officially filed for divorce in January. (Frankel filed first; Hoppy counter-filed three weeks later with aggressive papers requesting primary custody of Bryn, child support, medical and dental expenses, and exclusive use of their Tribeca loft.)
In April, the Bravo star and her ex met under similarly uncomfortable circumstances to discuss financial disclosure with their attorneys. Per E! News, the two did not acknowledge one another in the NYC courtroom.
Frankel recently spoke about the split with Good Day New York anchor Greg Kelly. Calling it a "brutal, unnatural situation," the talk show host, 42, said she never thought she'd find herself in such a position.
"I have to say, divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life," she admitted. "I never heard how excruciating it is."
