Carey took to Instagram to share a backstage selfie with the “Formation” singer, 35, thanking her for coming out to the show and wishing her a happy holiday. “I love you @beyonce thank you sooooo much for coming out tonight!” Mimi captioned the pic. “❤️😘🎤🙌🏽💋#merrychristmas.”

In the snapshot, the Elusive Chanteuse dazzles in a sparkly silver gown while Queen Bey looks cool and casual in an all-black ensemble featuring a wide-brimmed hat. Naturally, both pop divas — who are huge fans of one another — are sporting big smiles.

This isn’t the first time the chart-topping superstars have posed together. Back in February, Carey and Beyoncé snapped a pic together while hanging out at a benefit for the HeartView Global Foundation in Los Angeles.

During a May 2016 interview on Watch What Happens Live, the “We Belong Together” songstress revealed that she was indeed a member of the Beyhive. "I love Beyoncé. She knows this, most people know that. I'm a fan, I love her and we have fun together, like she's a fun person, she's really cool," she told host Andy Cohen. "I would love to do a collaboration with her."

Carey and Beyoncé previously teamed up in 2008 on “Just Stand Up,” a track to benefit the “Stand Up to Cancer” fundraising drive. The song also featured other top female acts including Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Fergie and Carrie Underwood, among others.
