Spending some quality time with nature. Billy Bush returned to social media for the first time since his Today show exit to share a photo of himself hiking with his wife, Sydney Davis, on Saturday, October 29.
"Hiking with lady long legs. Nice to get out," the TV personality, 45, captioned the Instagram selfie, which shows the happy couple standing on a mountain with a stunning view behind them.
As previously reported, Bush officially exited Today on October 17 after reaching a settlement with NBC in the wake of his involvement in the now-infamous Donald Trump tapes. In the audio published by The Washington Post on October 7, the former Access Hollywood cohost was heard laughing with the Republican presidential candidate, 70, who was bragging about groping women. After the tape leaked, Bush said he was "embarrassed and ashamed" by the lewd conversation.
Bush's fans, however, are still backing him. His Instagram post on Saturday was flooded with positive messages of support, including "Morning TV is not the same without you" and "You'll be back on top- you're a winner, a class act, the best in the biz."
Us Weekly exclusively reported earlier this week that the TV host (who is President George W. Bush's first cousin) is already being considered for a return to television. "Executives at different networks are already discussing if Billy is hire-able and if they can bring him on to any of their shows as a personality," a source told Us, adding that execs are "already talking about where he could be good, when he could be hired, or if the public would need a break from him before bringing him on a show."
