UPDATE: TMZ reports that Bobbi Kristina is currently in a medically induced coma for swelling of the brain.
Original Story: Following Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s hospitalization, her father, Bobby Brown, flew to Roswell, Georgia to be by her side, Us Weekly confirms. The ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston took a private jet from Los Angeles on Saturday, Jan. 31, shortly after the news of his daughter’s condition was announced.
As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina, 21, was found unconscious in her home’s bathtub by her husband Nick Gordon. She was rushed to the Fulton Hospital near her home in Roswell, Georgia, and is said to currently be breathing and stabilized.
The situation is eerily similar to the death of Bobbi Kristina’s pop icon mother Whitney Houston, who was found dead in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills Hotel room on Feb. 11, 2012.
A source close to the family tells Us Weekly, “She never got over Whitney’s death. It is very sad. It hit her harder than most people will ever know.”
