Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s Madame Tussauds Wax Figures in London Separated After Split

Marriage on, marriage off. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Madame Tussauds wax figures were separated following the news of the couple's split.

"The couple's wax figures, which were launched in 2013, have been split up and are now featured at a respectful distance from each other," the London museum announced on Wednesday, September 21, via CNN. "Angelina is keeping Nicole Kidman company and Brad Pitt is with his several time co-star Morgan Freeman."

Madame Tussauds' official Twitter account shared a photo of Brangelina's new placements. The star lucky enough to be in between them? Twilight hunk (and Kristen Stewart's ex) Robert Pattinson.

"Following the news that has shocked celebrity watchers worldwide, we can confirm we have separated Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's figures," the caption read.

Us Weekly confirmed on Tuesday that Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, after two years of marriage. The Maleficent actress is asking for sole physical custody of their six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. On Wednesday, TMZ reported that Pitt plans to file for joint custody.

The Oscar winners fell in love after costarring in the 2005 comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith. They quietly married in France in August 2014. At the time, organizers of the Las Vegas Madame Tussauds wanted to stage a depiction of the couple tying the knot. A rep for Pitt protested and ultimately put a stop to it.

"I personally found it a little odd that they were re-creating a wedding that never really happened," Cindy Guagenti, a spokeswoman for the actor, said via the Associated Press at the time. “As Brad’s representative, I found it disturbing."

The Venetian's former general manager, Adrian Jones, also released a statement. "Since Madame Tussauds enjoys excellent relationships with the celebrity community, we made our own decision not to create the wedding scene," he said.
