Life goes on for Brad Pitt. The actor, 49, resurfaced in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 15. Dressed down in his now-signature all-black and wearing aviator sunglasses, Pitt headed for a business meeting at Paramount Studios. (His big-budget zombie flick World War Z hits theaters in June.) It's the first time the superstar has been spotted since his fiancee Angelina Jolie revealed her shocking preventative double mastectomy news in a Monday New York Times Op-Ed piece — and by all accounts, it's been an unforgettable year so far for one of Hollywood's most well-known couples and their six kids. Explaining her bold decision to undergo the procedure, Jolie praised her love of eight years throughout the ordeal. "[Brad was] so loving and supportive," the Oscar winner, 37, wrote of Pitt, with whom she shares six kids. "Brad was [there] for every minute of the surgeries . . . We managed to find moments to laugh together."
"It's been an emotional and beautifully inspiring few months," Pitt admitted to USA TODAY late Tuesday. "It's such a wonderful relief to come through this and not have a spectre hanging over our heads. To know that that's not going to be something that's going to affect us. My most proudest thing is our family. This isn't going to get that."
Echoes a source close to the couple: "Brad thinks she's incredible and loves her more than ever."
