Brandi Glanville jokingly poked fun at her children for not having a wild party side.
“Let’s be clear we’ve all done cocaine, well in the ‘90s,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 53, said on the Saturday, July 18, episode of her “Brandi Unfiltered” podcast, adding she hasn’t partook in the drug “since Fentanyl came out.”
Cohost James Maas joked that Glanville “has drug testing strips to make sure it’s good” and the reality star retorted she purchased them for her children just in case. (Glanville shares sons Mason, 23, and Jake, 19, with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, whom she was married to from 2001 to 2010. Cibrian, 53, has been married to wife LeAnn Rimes since 2011.)
“I got them for the kids. Luckily, my kids don’t do cocaine because they’re boring,” she quipped. “But that’s OK because I love that they’re boring. They don’t even like to drink. I’m like ‘What do you do? Where’s your life?’ But I like it for them.”
Glanville joked that she wished that her sons had a little more of an adventurous spirit.
“I just want them to party a little more,” she teased.
However, she doesn’t mind if they continue to refrain from using hard substances.
“Not like cocaine,” she clarified.
This isn’t the first time Glanville has shared an unfiltered comment about her children. Earlier this year, Glanville made a cameo on Calabasas Confidential alongside Mason and recalled the moment that she learned her son was sexually active.
“I remember realizing he wasn’t a virgin when I walked by his room and I heard a spanking being given,” she said during the episode which aired in May. “I was just like, ‘F*** my life. My son is not a virgin anymore.’ I think he was 15 or 16, and I was crying. I’m like, ‘I am so uncomfortable right now.’ But at least he’s giving a spanking at least. He’s got some moves.”
Brandi also gushed about Mason’s girlfriend, Sarah, to his friend Emilie Nelson.
“I love [his girlfriend]. She’s the best. I want to keep her forever,” she said. “I told her to get pregnant. I was like, ‘Just trick him. Then we’ll have a cute little Irish baby, and I can just watch it.’”
Mason added that his relationship with Sarah felt different compared to past connections.
“She’s the only person I’ve ever been with where I can picture a future,” he told his mom and friend.
